Fed up car driver
11 / 4 / 2008

I get so mad at these inconsiderate car drivers that we have on the road today. I have been driving 33 years and the standard of driving has decreased sadly .Everyone seems to be driving like they are desperate to get somewhere, only to find that the traffic lights stop them just down the road. I have tail gaters that really infurate me and when I want to pull in to my own drive it's like I am a pest for doing this!

Why don't people at work respond to emails that you send them straight away

mobile phones
18 / 4 / 2008

I do not need or want to hear, personal (often offensive) conversations on mobile telephones. I have experienced all ages shouting and swearing their banal rubbish into mobile telephones in supermarkets, public places and worse of all on long train journeys. There was a time one could read or quietly contemplate whilst 'letting the train take the strain', alas no more. Self respect and good manners have been replaced by apathy and fear of retribution.Everyone appears to care, but who is brave enough to do something constructive.

Personal Stereos - a misnomer
2 / 4 / 2008

If your musicplayer is called a personal stereo, please can you keep it as such. I do not wish to share your music, whether I like your taste or not. Yesterday on the train I actually had to endure the tinny "doosh doosh" of THREE neighbouring "personal" stereos. I have asked our train company if we cannot have quiet carriages, could they at least put signs up reminding people to keep their stereos/conversations personal but they actually "have no plans to do this". This would appear to be a coded way (or even a blunt way) of telling me that we hear your complaint but we are going to ignore it and not going to do anything to assist you, the passenger (I am not a "customer") to have a more comfortable journey even though this is well within our powers. End of rant.
